Denny's & Delays

Update: I'm still stranded in Chicago... I'll finally get a flight tomorrow evening, but holy cow was it a not-so-fun trek to get here. I have to be honest though, it's somewhat nice to be able to sprawl out in my own hotel room. What's the biggest downfall? It's in Chicago, not London. Unfortunately, I will be missing out on my stay in London, but at least the whole trip isn't ruined. My brother gave me good advice, "overcome and adapt," is what he said. That's the plan! So, today I walked two miles to a Denny's in 35mph wind speed and rain, but the wonderful staff kept my coffee cup full and told me to stay as long as I wanted. I ordered a big enough meal to last me for another meal too! I've been honked at twice and a random dude sat down in my booth... WHAT! Told him I was married... :) Anyways, bad start to the trip, but I'm overcoming and adapting, and I can't wait until my adventures get more exciting than a cold and wet walk to Denny's in a Chicago suburb.
